• Temperature Measurement
To avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument, do not connect the thermocouple
to a live circuit.
1.
Set the rotary selector at the desired °C range.
2.
The LCD will display the current ambient temperature.
3.
Connect the black test lead of the "K" type thermocouple to the COM jack and the red test lead to the
°C jack.
4.
Touch the object to be measured with the thermocouple.
• Humidity Measurement
To avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument, do not connect the input to a live
circuit.
1.
Set the rotary selector at the desired %RH range.
2.
The LCD will display the current ambient humidity.
Note:
• The meter will need a few seconds to stabilize the humidity reading.
• Sound Level Measurement
To avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument, do not connect the input to a live
circuit.
1.
Set the rotary selector at the desired dB range.
2.
The LCD will display the current ambient sound level.
• Illuminance Measurement
To avoid electrical shock and/or damage to the instrument, do not connect the input to a live
circuit.
1.
Set the rotary selector at the desired Lux range.
2.
Move the meter in front of the light source to be measured.
3.
The LCD will display the current illuminance level.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Do not attempt to repair or service your multimeter unless you are qualified to do so and have the relevant
calibration, performance test and service information.
a. General Maintenance
