Read all these warnings before using the charger.
Provide adequate ventilation during charging.
CAUTION!
Charge only Numatic Lithium-Ion batteries, other types of batteries may burst
causing personal injury and damage.
• Do not use damaged devices.
• Do not use the charger if it is wet.
• Do not charge below +5°C.
• Do not operate charger in explosive environment.
• Do not carry the charger by holding the mains cord.
• Do not handle the electrical cord or plug, with wet hands.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not cover the charger.
• Do not open the charger. Repairs shall be done only by authorised personnel.
• Do not charge damaged batteries.
• Do only charge dry batteries.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries in this charger.
• Protect the charger against moisture and store it in a dry place.
• This appliance must not to be used by children or infirmed persons with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction.
• The mains voltage available must correspond to the voltage stated on the rating plate of the
charger.
• Check the mains cord regularly for any sign of damage.
• If the mains cord of the charger is damaged, it must be replaced by an original NUMATIC
INTERNATIONAL cord available from the manufacturer or service agent.
• The charger is intended for use only on flat surfaces, place horizontally on floor or work
surface.
• The charger is intended for use with the power cord supplied, the power
unit is capable of operating at different voltages without user adjustment.
• If your charger is fitted with a non-detachable cable this can only be changed by an authorized service
partner.
• Make sure cable replacements are a genuine Numatic service part.
• If the charger is damaged or does not charge anymore, do not use, and contact your supplier.

Fit the mains power cord to charger and suitable power supply.

Charger Testing Information
The NX300 Charger, Numatic Part number 911334, is fully approved and certified to international
standards by accredited test bodies.
The safety standards applicable to the UK market which the appliance has been tested and certified to are:
- EN 60335-1
- EN 60335-2-29
- EN 62233
The accredited test body is TÜV SÜD.

The Earth connection in the appliance is used for functional purposes only.

All accessible metal parts are insulated from live parts by double / reinforced insulation and the test
reports from the accredited test bodies confirm this.

It is therefore our recommendation that the following should be considered when PAT testing our
appliance.

The mains cable should be fully PAT tested for Earth continuity, Insulation resistance and Polarity.
5.
The appliance should be tested for insulation resistance only as stated.
The note to not test for Earth continuity can be made in the PAT register (if one is held) for historical
justification and traceability as to the reasoning for omitting the test.
