Please use quality-guaranteed batteries or those specified by this product. Otherwise, the leakage will
corrode the casing and metal shrapnel, so that the equipment cannot work.
●
Do not mix new and old batteries, and batteries of different brands and types.
● Please install the battery according to the suggested polarity, or will cause the device to display no power
or insufficient power, so that the device cannot work or even be damaged.
●
Please immediately replace the battery with insufficient power when the infrared thermometer shows a
low voltage symbol to indicate that it is within the low voltage range.
●
Please remove the battery if it will not be used for a long time (more than 3 months) to avoid battery
leakage affecting the normal use of the device.
●
If the battery is charged, or is improperly placed with positive and negative electrodes, short circuited, put
into water, hit, punctured, etc., it may cause leakage, rupture and explosion.
●
Dispose waste batteries according to the requirements of local environmental protection regulation.
8.2 Preparation and Inspection Before Measurement
1) This product needs to be used indoors with an ambient temperature of 59°F104°F (15°C40°C).
2) Place the infrared thermometer in the operational environment for more than 30 minutes to make the
temperature of the infrared thermometer consistent with the operational environment.
3) Check whether the temperature sensing head of the thermometer is clean before each use, and make sure
that there is no dirt and foreign matter blocking at the infrared sensor.
* When there is a difference between the temperature of the operational environment and the temperature
of the infrared thermometer, or when the infrared thermometer is used nearby an air conditioner,
it will not measure correctly.
8.3 Temperature Unit Settings
Short press the "Measure" button to turn on the thermometer, and long press the "M" button for 3 seconds,
when the screen displays: Fl, select "+" and "-" keys to switch between degrees Celsius °C and Fahrenheit °F.
8.4 Switch between body temperature mode and object temperature mode
The product has two modes: body mode and object mode. Short press the "Measure" button to turn on the
thermometer,and short press the "M" buttonto switch between body mode and object mode.
