A. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
1. Before plugging the appliance in, ensure that the nominal voltage indicated on the technical
specifications label located on the fan matches network voltage.
2. Never immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquids.
3. The appliance can be used by children under the age of 8 and by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities, or without experience or the necessary knowledge, as
long as they are supervised or after they have received relative instructions. to use the
appliance safely and to understand the dangers inherent to it.
4. Children must not play with the appliance.
5. The care and cleaning interventions can be carried out by children aged 8 years and over
only under the supervision of an adult.
6. Remove all packaging and do not leave packaging materials such as plastic bags, styrofoam
and rubber bands within reach of children as they may cause serious injury.
7. Use fan only for intended use, as described in instruction manual.
8. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse unit, plug, or cord in water or spray with
liquids.
9. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
10. Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before
putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
11. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects through the grille when fan is running.
12. Disconnect fan before cleaning.
13. Make sure fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid chance of overturning.
14. Do not use fan in a window. Rain may cause an electrical hazard.
15. Do not operate in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
16. Do not place fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating appliances.
17. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions
or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
18. Do not let cord hang over table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
19. To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
20. Always use on a dry surface.
