• Loosen thumb screws on Handle and insert Bows (Fig. 1a).
• Press down on a Bow until it is level with top of Handle and the interior
spring is engaged. Hold in place and tighten thumb screw (Fig. 1). Repeat
with other Bow. Do NOT over tighten.
• Measure and cut a piece of Wire approx. 6" in length. Install Wire with
or without Collars (Collars are required for angled cuts). When installed,
Wire must be taut between Bows.
• Wrap ends of Wire several times around grooves in tops of Bows, and then
twist it back onto itself. Secure close to edge of Bows.
• If using Collars, slide onto Bows with thumb screws facing out and tighten
(Fig. 2 and 2a). Thread one end of Wire through small, center hole in
Collar, extending out of top hole approx. 1" (Fig. 3a). Twist excess Wire
tightly around long Wire section and secure as close to edge of Collar
as possible. Repeat with other end of Wire on opposite Collar (Fig. 3).
Tighten loose Wire by rotating Collar.
• Adjust Collar placement for angled cuts (Fig. 4 and 4a).
To Use: Connect Transformer to Handle and then plug in Transformer. Push
Yellow Button on Handle forward to heat Wire while cutting, release when
cut is complete. Wire will heat only when Yellow Button is fully engaged.
Wire cools when Yellow Button is released, even slightly. Make slow, steady
cuts. Unplug when not in use.
