ELECTRIC WIRING
To the 230 V power supply : Connect the PH, N
and T terminals to the 230 V power supply + earth
protected by a 30 mA circuit breaker.
With the filtration control panel : Connect the
terminals 11 and 12 of the RED 2 to the contacts
of the timer. This connection will start the pump
filtration, when the balance tank is too full.
Disconnect the A2 wire from the filtration pump
contactor and connect it to terminal 10 of the RED
2. Connect the terminal 9 of the RED 2 to the A2
terminal of the filtration pump contactor.
With the sensors : Connect the terminals 4 to 8 of
the RED 2 to the sensors in accordance with the
sensor placement diagram. Make sure that the
connections to the balance tank are tight. Humidity
on the wires may cause malfunction of the RED 2.
To the electric valve : The 24 V electric valve must
be connected to the terminals 0 and 24 of the RED
2.

PUTTING INTO OPERATION
Upon completion of the hydraulic and electric
connections the control panel must be put into
operation.
•
Make sure that the water in the balance tank
has the correct level and that the sensors were
placed correctly (chapter SENSORS).
•
Turn on the power switch of the filtration pump.
•
Set the circuit breaker in the «ON» position to
turn on the power supply to the balance tank
control panel.
This will start the filtration pump.
11.
MALFUNCTION
11.1
The filtration pump fails to
start:
•
Make sure that the power supply of the control
panels of the filtration pump and the balance
tank is turned on.
•
Make sure that the water level in the balance
tank is above the C sensor.
•
Make sure that the sensors have been correctly
placed and connected to the terminals of the
balance tank control panel.
•
Make sure that the filtration pump switch is not in
the «OFF» position.
11.2
The electric valve does not
open (no filling with water):
•
Make sure that the sensors have been correctly
placed and connected to the terminals of the
balance tank control panel.
•
Check the wiring of the electric valve.
•
Make sure that the electric supply to the 230/24
V transformer of the electric valve is turned on.
•
Make sure that the 24 V electric supply has been
turned on.
