NOTE:

Any smoke or smells produced during this procedure are normal. Please
ensure sufficient ventilation.

Do not eat the first sandwich.

After the device has cooled down, wipe the baking surfaces off with a
paper towel.
Using the unit
1. Plug the sandwich toaster into the mains. The red control lamp comes on to
show that the sandwich toaster is operational. Close the sandwich toaster,
and lock it with the closing tab.
2. Place the sliced bread and filling ingredients on a clean dry surface.
3. Spread a thin layer of butter on the outside of the bread to keep it from
sticking to the hot plates.
4. Prepare the sandwiches to your liking.
5. After a few minutes, the green control lamp goes on to show that the
sandwich toaster has reached the correct temperature.
6. Insert the sandwiches, close the sandwich toaster, and lock it with the
closing tab. Wait around three minutes for them to be perfectly toasted.
NOTE:

The green control lamp switches on and off during baking in order to
maintain the baking temperature.

The baking time depends on your individual taste. The longer the
sandwiches remain in the device, the greater the level of browning.

The baking section should always be closed in the intervals between
baking.

Open the lid catch carefully and then fold up the lid.
–
Remove the toasted sandwiches with a wooden fork or similar item.
CAUTION:
Do not use pointed or sharp objects to avoid damaging the coating of the
baking surfaces.
Switching Off
If you would like to interrupt operation or switch the device off, remove the plug
from the socket. The red control lamp goes off.
