Before the first use
· Carefully read the operating instructions as well as the safety instructions first.
· Remove all packaging material and dispose of it properly.
· Only wipe off the housing with a soft cloth (slightly damp, if necessary). Attention: Do not use any abrasive
cleansers when cleaning.
· The mixing container, the knife insert and the drinking lid can be cleaned with warm water and a mild
detergent. Then rinse with clear water and dry off completely.
Use
· Coarsely chop the desired food. Fill the mixing container with the food in observance of the maximum fill
level mark. TIP: For optimal results, first add the solid food to the mixing container and then pour in the
desired liquids.
· Close the mixing container with the knife insert. Attention: The blades are very sharp. Risk of injury!
· Place the mixing container on the motor housing. The lugs on the mixing container fit precisely in the
recesses on the motor housing.
· Just now plug the power cord into a suitable socket.
· Start the mixing process by pressing down gently. We recommend running the device in brief mixing
intervals in which the pressure is released downwards. Make sure that you hold the mixing container straight
during this process.
· For continuous operation, press the mixing container down and lock it in place by rotating anticlockwise.
· Operate the Smoothie Maker only until the desired consistency is achieved. Then pull the plug out of the
outlet.
· Always wait until the knife has come to a stop before removing the mixing container from the motor
housing. Turn the container over so that the knife insert is at the top. Now you can unscrew the knife insert.
· You can now pour the smoothie or food into a different container for serving or further processing, or close
it with the drinking lid and enjoy it directly from the mixing container.
