•After about 10 minutes, when the temperature of the food reaches about 40 - 50°C, the heater will start the
process of maintaining a constant temperature. The light indicator will start flashing into green.
•When you want to take out the bottle/jar of food, first unplug the device from the button. Remove the
bottle/jar and unplug the power cord from the outlet as a safety precaution. Note: Wait for about a minute
before taking out the bottle/the jar from the warmer, to let it cool down to avoid the risk of burning.
•Leave the appliance to cool down completely before taking out the bottle. Pour out the remaining water from
the appliance and wipe it dry.
•Before you start feeding your child, always stir the food to ensure even temperature distribution.
3. Sterilizing bottles and small feeding accessories (high temperature ~ 100°C):
•Place the bottle holder on the bottom of the appliance..
• Fill the warmer with about 120-150 ml of water.
• Put the articles you want to sterilize, such as teats, spoons, or the bottle into the warmer and cover it with
the transparent lid. Turn the knob into the sterilization position. The indicator light will start flashing into red.
•After about 6 minutes, the water will boil and the sterilization process will begin. When the temperature in
the heater reaches 100 °C, then automatically the indicator will start flashing green. If you decide that the
sterilization is taking too long, you can put the button in the OFF position.
•When you want to take out the bottle/accessories, first unplug the device from the button, unplug the power
cord from the outlet as a safety precaution. Leave the appliance to cool down completely before taking out the
sterilized object. Then, using pincers, remove the sterilized items. Pour out the remaining water from the
appliance and wipe it dry.
GUIDELINES FOR MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF THE BOTTLE WARMER
A. CLEANING:
1. Before cleaning the product, turn off the power switch, unplug the supply cord from the power outlet and leave
the appliance to cool down.
2. Wipe inside and outside the product only with damp cloth and soft cleanser.
3.Do not use strong detergents for cleaning the product – bleach, alcohol – based ones and such with abrasive
parts.
4.We recommend you to use pre-boiled or filtered water in order to reduce the risk of lime scale deposition.
B. DESCALING:
You should descale the Electric and Baby Food Warmer at least 2-3 times per month to ensure that the unit will
continue working 100% effectively.
1. OR: Mix one sachet of citric acid (10g) with 200 ml/7 oz water. Pour the solution in the warmer. Plug the electric
cable in the unit and in the power outlet, then turn the knob into position 3 (sterilization). After 10 minutes turn off
the appliance and leave the water for 30 minutes. Pour out the solution away and rinse the warmer with tap water.
Citric acid is available from most chemists.
2. OR: Pour 50ml/2 oz vinegar (white) mixed with 100ml/ 4 oz cold water into the warmer. Leave the solution in the
unit until the lime scale dissolves. After than pour out the solution and rinse the product thoroughly.
