Charging Inside the Vehicle
1. Plug the vehicular charger adapter into
the vehicle auxiliary power outlet.
Note: Some vehicles auxiliary power outlets do not
maintain an electrical current once the vehicle has
been turned off. Rated input: 12 – 24 V DC 1 A.
Charging the Battery
1. Insert a battery or radio with a battery into the
charger pocket, making sure the charging
contacts make contact with the battery. The
battery charging indicator LED on the
charger indicates:
LED
Green Blink
Red
Green
Flashing
Yellow
Flashing Red
Flashing
Green

The LED continues to blink yellow until the battery
meets it normal charging requirements.
What it means.....
For 1 second when first connecting the
charger to a power source without a
battery or radio inside the charging
pocket.
The battery is rapid charging.
The battery is fully charged. This occurs
once rapid charge is completed.
The battery is too cold or too hot to

charge.
The battery is defective.
Charge > 90%
