1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The DM/25 microwave movement detector has been created for controlling the opening of automatic gates. It can detect movement of
persons or of greater masses, such as vehicles of all kinds, over surfaces from one to fifteen square metres. This versatility is due to the
possibility of adjusting range by means of the special setting trimmer ("E" – Fig. 1).
Basically the DM/25 consists of a signal receiver-transmitter. Each device has a LED ("F" – Fig. 1) in SMD technology, not visible externally,
which indicates detection of movements and the state of excitation of the relay.
2. APPLICATIONS
Its high-level protection box (IP55), its considerable setting range by means of the special trimmer ("E" – Fig. 1) and vertical setting by means
of the special slots ("A" – Fig. 1) mean that the DM/25 can be perfectly applied to automatic gates both externally and internally. Adjusting the
settings mentioned above it is also possible to tare the detector in such a way as to detect only masses of a certain size, such as vehicles of
any kind.

5. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
The DM/25 must be installed in locations and on surfaces free of vibrations, protected from inclement weather and accidental
knocks and at a height of around 2.5 metres from ground level. Installation must be carried out following the instructions
shown in Fig. 1 and the diagram in Fig, 3.
Using the trimmer ("E" – Fig. 1), set the desired range. You are advised to set the range in such a way that there is no
detection of movement lower than approximately 20 – 30 cm. from the ground level being covered.
This precaution is advised in order to reduce the amount of interference generated by vibrations which might interfere with normal functioning
of the DM/25.
