4.3. Replacing the blade
When replacing the blade proceed as follows:
• Disconnect the cable (D) (Fig. 1) connector (7) connecting
the Shears to the battery, even if it is switched off;
• Unscrew the screws (10) (Fig. 13) and remove the pro-
tective cover;
• Using the Allen wrench supplied with the kit (H) (Fig. 1),
unscrew the screw (11) (Fig. 15) on the blade nut (12) and
the screw (13) on the stop gear (14);
• Manually unscrew the blade nut (12) and remove the pin
(15) on the opposite side;
• Separate the blade (17) from its support (16);
Once replacement is complete, assemble the components in
reverse order compared to removal. The blade nut (12) MUST
always be tightened by hand.
