Consider working environment Do
not expose Garden Power Tools to
rain. Do not use tools in damp or
wet locations. Ensure the work area
is well lit. Do not use power tools
in an environment with a potentially
explosive atmosphere.
Dress appropriately Do not wear
loose clothing or jewellery, they
can get caught up in moving parts.
Protective gloves and nonslip
footwear are recommended when
working outdoors. Tie back long
hair to avoid it getting caught up in
moving parts.
Keep children and pets away from
the working area
Use CE approved safety glasses
Use face or dust mask if the
operation is dusty
Use the right tool
Only use this tool for its intended
purpose.
Do not force the tool It will last
longer and do the job better at the
rate at which it was designed to
operate.
Check damaged parts Before using
the tool, check that parts are not
damaged. Check the alignment of
free running and moving parts.
Any damaged parts should be
properly repaired or replaced.
Do not use the tool if the switch
does not turn it on and off.
Stay alert Do not operate the tool
when you are tired, after drinking
alcohol or taking drugs.
Using outdoor extension leads Use
only extension leads of the correct
size and which are intended for
outdoor use.
Avoid unintentional starting Do not
carry a plugged in tool with a finger
on the switch. Ensure the tool is
switched off before plugging into
the power supply.
Disconnect tools When not in use,
before servicing and when changing
accessories disconnect the tool
from the power supply.
Maintain tools with care Keep
tools clean for better and safer
performance. Follow instructions
for lubrication and changing
accessories. Inspect tool cable
periodically and if damaged have it
replaced. Keep handles dry, clean
and free from oil and grease.
RECYClING
Please dispose of this product
responsibly at the end of its working
life. It should be passed to a civic
amenity recycling site or through
a retailer operating an exchange
scheme.
Please do not dispose it as
household waste and help protect
the environment.
Do not abuse the power cable
Never carry the tool by the cable
or pull it to disconnect it from the
socket. Keep the cable away from
heat, oil and sharp edges.

may contain stones and debris.
Do not let other people or animals
come within 15 feet of the trimmer
when in use.
Always check the good working
order of the trimmer which , if not
adequate, could endanger the user.
Do not use the trimmer if the cutting
device is not secured properly or is
damaged.
