Introduction
Thank you for purchasing and trusting Stargazer Boats on behalf of our entire team! We wish you lots
of fun and good catches while using this boat. In this manual you will find all the information you need
to use and maintain this boat. Please read this manual carefully so that you can get the most out of
your boat and fishing.
Safety Precautions
Please read this manual carefully.
Your Stargazer is not suitable for marine or saltwater use.
It is the responsibility of the driver of the boat to know and follow the local laws regarding the
use of the boat.
All passengers on board must wear a life jacket.
Make sure that the boat's spare equipment (paddles, pump and repair kit) are on board while
using the boat.
In addition to the above these items, it is wise to bring basic survival equipment and a first aid kit.
Do not operate a boat under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Do not exceed the maximum load weight and maximum engine power shown on the manufacturing
plate on the boats.
Be well aware of current and upcoming weather conditions.
Always communicate your departure time and location, your route and your estimated time of
arrival to someone on the shore.
Do not navigate in the dark or dangerous situations if proper navigation lights are not installed.
Do not use a compressor to inflate the boat. Too much pressure can tear the seams and/or wall.
Equip your outboard motor with an emergency shutdown cord. This will shut off the motor if the
driver pulls the cord for any reason.
Check regularly to make sure the motor is secure. Loose bolts can make the craft unmanageable,
or even cause the engine to come loose!
Turn the engine off and flip it up when sailing over shallows. Hitting the bottom or other obstacles
can cause permanent damage to your boat.
