Intended use
Only use the product described in this manual as follows:
• For surface cleaning of garden ponds, swimming ponds and pools.
• For operation with clean water.
• While adhering to the technical specifications. (→ Unit data)
• Adherence to the permissible water quality. (→ Permissible water quality)
The following restrictions apply to the unit:
• Never use the unit with fluids other than water.
• Never run the unit without water.
• Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.

• Install the transformer at a minimum safety distance of 2 m from the water.
• Connect the connection cable of the skimmer to the socket on the transformer and hand-tighten the union nut.
• Place the skimmer into the pond and submerge it until the container is completely flooded.
• To anchor the skimmer, fasten one or two cords to the lugs of the pump chamber and anchor the other ends to the
edge of the pond.

The unit is dust-tight and protected against the results of permanent immersion in water to a depth of 4 m.
The unit is protected against foreign objects (Ø ≥1 mm) and spray water.
Protection class II. The unit is securely disconnected from the power supply by a reinforced or double in-
sulation.
Safety isolating transformer. The primary and secondary side of the transformer are galvanically isolated.
Possible danger for persons with pacemakers.
Do not dispose of the unit with normal household waste.
