Question/Problem - Cause
Causa
The motor does not start:
• The power cord is disconnected or damaged;
• "ON/OFF" switch electrical contacts are not in good
condition or it does not work
• Rotor or stator windings are damaged;
• Short-circuited rotor windings;
The rotation speed does not change:
• The carbon brushes are worn out;
• The speed change mechanisms are damaged;
Metal head heats up:
• Lack of grease on the spindle head or dirty head;
Body overheats:
• Overloaded machine;
• The mains voltage is too low;
Formation of sparks around the rotor:
• The carbon brushes are worn out;

• Plug in or repair the power cord;
• Repair or replace the switch
