Pairing the transmitter and built-in receiver
1. Turn the fan AC power on.
2. Press and hold the transmitter's
has detected the frequency, the fan will automatically begin to operate and start to rotate in the
counter-clockwise direction and on the lowest Speed setting. The fan will continue to spin until the
"STOP" button has been pressed.
NOTE: The auto learning (Pairing) function will only mandate within 3 minutes of turning the fans AC
power on.
Repairing the transmitter and built-in receiver
Should the remote and receiver lose control after installation or during use, the pairing of the remote
and the built-in receiver must be repaired. Below are the operating symptoms and method to repair the
pairing of the DC ceiling fan remote and built-in receiver:
Issues:
Loss of control - Fan only running at high speed after installation.
Loss of control - No reverse function after installation.
Loss of control - remote cannot communicate with receiver.
Interference of remotes - when 2 or more DC ceiling fans are installed in one location, need to set
different DIP codes for different fans.
Solution:
1. Slide the cover of battery compartment
of transmitter to access the DIP
switches.
2. Select desired frequency from the
back of transmitter by changing the
DIP switches (1). Configuring the DIP
switches will allow a unique transmission code assigned to each DC fan. Fig. 14
3. Pairing the transmitter and built-in receiver again.
NOTE: Ensure power to the receiver is ON prior to pairing the transmitter with the built-in receiver.
NOTE: Ensure that you have installed an all - poles disconnection switch in the fixed wiring for each
fan, when using DIP code function.
Lock position: The DC motor has a built in safety against obstruction during operation, if the fan
motor senses an obstruction it will lock and will not rotate until the power has been disconnected for 10
seconds.
"D" and "ON" dip switch: (not valid for this fan model)
The "D" that appears on the back of the remote control next to the frequency dip switches is used
when using candelabra bulbs only. Leaving the dip switch in the "D" setting will allow for dimming
capability. In the "ON" position it will disable the Dimming function.
