LOGIC CONTROL
The operating logic of the thermostat must be
chosen according to the type of
fan coil where it is installed, the selection
criterion is:
fan coil unit with on-off motor (Dip 8 to
OFF position)
fan with brushless motor (Dip 8 to ON)
TEMPERATURE CONTROL 0 TO 100%
(FAN INVERTER)
The figure below shows the operation of the
fan in auto mode (AUTO position selector)
proportional error function. In manual mode
(selector in position V1, V2, V3) the fan uses
the On-Off cycles on the selected speed. If
the fan is equipped with electrical resistance,
each activation of this will require a pre-purge
of 20 ", approximately, to VMINAUX speed.
Once exhausted the ventilation request with
lit resistance will be a phase of post-purge
of 60 "with VMINAUX speed. Paragraph
Enabling Ventilation illustrates the enable
logic - disabling the fan in relation to the water
temperature in the heat exchanger, while

VENTILATION CONTROL

Thermostat-controlled ventilation: The
choice of the regulation according to ther-
mostatically controlled ventilation (dip3
OFF) foresees the switching off of the ven-
tilation when the setpoint is reached. (See
the dip switch settings table).
Continuous ventilation: The continuous

7°C and the water temperature is suitable (anti-freeze function).
AUTO
On reaching the setpoint, the ventilation proceedes with the minimum continuous speed.
In this position, the minimum ventilation speed V1 is always active regardless of thermostat
V1
requirements.
In this position, the average ventilation speed V2 is always active regardless of thermostat
V2
requirements.
In this position, the maximum ventilation speed V3 is always active regardless of thermostat

requirements.
In this position, the minimum Aux ventilation speed is always

active.

the case of the ventilation operation with active
resistance.

ventilation is selected by means of dip3
that must be set to On. In practice the
continuous ventilation provides ventila-
tion even with thermostat fulfilled at the
speed chosen. This function is disabled if
the machine has no shut-off valve (dip1
OFF). In these particular cases, the ventila-
tion will always be managed with thermo-
