5. Operation
5.1 Charging the Lithium-Ion battery (not
included)
The corresponding instructions can be found
in the original operating instructions for your
charger.
5.2 On/Off switch (Fig. 1/Item 1)
This LED spotlight has two brightness levels for
illumination, which are controlled via the On/Off
switch (1):
1 press: Switches the lamp on → Brightness level
1000 lm.
2 presses: Switches the lamp to the highest level
→ Brightness level 2500 lm.
3 presses: Switches the lamp off .
5.3 Fastening to a tripod (Fig. 4 / Item 2)
The equipment can be fastened to a tripod with a
¼" male thread by means of a ¼" female thread
(2) as shown in Fig. 4.
5.4 12V cigarette lighter cable (Fig. 5 / Item 3)
The 12V cigarette lighter cable (3) which is
supplied with the product can be used to run the
LED spotlight without a rechargeable battery. To
do so, connect the 12V cigarette lighter cable (3)
to a 12V cigarette lighter socket.
5.5 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 3 / item 6)
Press the battery capacity indicator switch (7).
The battery capacity indicator (6) shows the
charge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashing:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs fl ashing:
The temperature of the battery is too low. Remove
the battery from the device and leave it at room
temperature for a day. If the error occurs again,
this means that the battery has been completely
depthdischarged and is defective. Remove the
battery from the device. Never use or charge a
defective battery.

6. Cleaning and maintenance
HAZARD!
Always take the battery out of the equipment
before starting any cleaning work.
6.1 Cleaning
Keep all safety devices, air vents and the
motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as
possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean
cloth or blow it down with compressed air at
low pressure.
We recommend cleaning the equipment
immediately each time after use.
Clean the equipment regularly with a damp
cloth and some soft soap. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents; these may
be aggressive to the plastic parts in the
equipment. Ensure that no water can get into
the interior of the equipment. The ingress of
water into an electric power tool increases the
risk of an electric shock.
6.2 Maintenance
There are no other parts inside the equipment
which require maintenance.
7. Disposal and recycling
The equipment is supplied in packaging to
prevent it from being damaged in transit. The
raw materials in this packaging can be reused or
recycled. The equipment and its accessories are
made of various types of material, such as metal
and plastic. Never place defective equipment in
your household refuse. The equipment should
be taken to a suitable collection center for proper
disposal. If you do not know the whereabouts of
such a collection point, you should ask in your
local council offi ces.
