Keep these documents, including the warranty certificate,
receipt and, if possible, the box with the inner packaging in
a safe place. If you pass the appliance on to a third party,
always include all the relevant documents.

It is essential to comply with these instructions in order to
avoid accidents and prevent damage to the appliance:

Unpacking the Appliance
1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling
material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
4. If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if
damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance.
Return it to the dealer immediately.
5. There may still be dust or production residues on the
appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance
as described under "Cleaning".

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
This appliance is intended for use in the bathroom or home
sauna.
The appliance may only be used in the manner described in
this instruction manual. Any other use may result in damage
to property or personal injury.
WARNING:
• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it
after use since the proximity of water presents a haz-
ard even when the appliance is switched off.
• For additional protection, the installation of a residual
current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating
current not exceeding 30 mA is advisable in the elec-
trical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer
for advice.
• Only use the appliance when either the stand feet
are mounted or the mounting on the wall has been
completed.
• Only use the appliance in an upright position.
• As a floor-mounted appliance, the towel warmer may
only be placed at a distance of at least 1 metre from the
bathtub or shower.
• Never place the appliance so that it can fall into a bath-
tub or other water container.
• Do not lay the mains cable under carpeted floors. Do not
cover the mains cable with carpets or similar. Lay the
mains cable out of the way of traffic so that no one can
trip over it.
• When installing on the wall, the towel warmer must be
positioned so that switches and other controls cannot be
touched by a person in the bath or shower.
Installation
You need a Phillips screwdriver of medium size. Also
refer to the "Overview of the Components / Installation" on
page 3).
Free-standing Appliance (Illustration A)
1. Place the appliance so that the mains switch is on top.
2. Fasten the two feet to the housing with the short screws
(M 3.5 * 13).
3. Turn the appliance over so that it is standing on the feet.
