CD track or go back to the beginning of the current CD track.
2. During Play or Pause mode, press and hold the NEXT BUTTON (#17) or PREVIOUS BUTTON (#18) to
search within the current CD track with audible high-speed playback.
Programmed Play Order
This function allows music tracks to be played in a programmed sequence.
NOTE: Program can only be set in STOP mode.
1. Press the PLAY MODE (#7) once. The program number 01 and the PROGRAM INDICATOR (#15) both will
flash.
2. Tap the NEXT BUTTON (#17) or PREVIOUS BUTTON (#18) to select the track to be programmed.
3. Press the PLAY MODE (#7) again to store the selection. The program number will advance to 02 and flash
to prompt for the next input.
4. You may repeat steps 2 to 3 to program up to 20 tracks. As soon as you have entered the 20th track, the
LED DISPLAY (#12) will automatically show the programmed tracks one by one in their correct sequence
starting from the first. At the end of program review, program number 01 and the PROGRAM INDICATOR
(#15) will both flash.
5. Press the CD PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (#9) to complete and start program play. The PROGRAM INDICATOR
(#15) will light up. Press the CD STOP BUTTON (#16) to stop.
6. Normally all the programmed tracks will be played through once and then stop. However, you may use the
REPEAT function to repeatedly play a certain track (Repeat 1) or all tracks (Repeat All) in the program
7. To cancel program play, press the CD STOP BUTTON (#16) twice while program playback is running or
open the CD DOOR in stop mode. The PROGRAM INDICATOR (#15) light will turn off.
AUX Input
This unit provides an AUX IN JACK (#24) to connect to the output of external audio device like MP3 players,
CD players, smart phones, etc. to listen though this unit.
1. Connect an audio cable with a 3.5mm stereo plug (not included) to the AUX input.
2. Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR (#25) to CD/AUX/BT position and use onboard controls to adjust volume,
etc. You may need to adjust the volume on your external audio device as well for optimal sound level.
Bluetooth (BT) Operation
1. Set the FUNCTION SELECTOR (#25) to the CD/AUX/BT position.
2. Press the PLAY MODE (#7) Button, the display will show a flashing "BT".
3. If the unit has never been paired with a Bluetooth device before or cannot find the last paired device, the
display and the BT indicator will keep on flashing.
4. Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for "QFX J-300BT". Select "QFX J-300BT" on the Bluetooth
device to connect.
5. After successfully paired the unit, you can now start playing music from your Bluetooth device wirelessly.
6. Press the PLAY MODE (#7) button again to disconnect.
Play a Cassette Tape
• Use Type I (normal) tapes only.
• Type II (high position), Type III (ferro-chrome) and Type IV (metal) tapes are not
supported.
• If there is tape slack, rewind the slack using a pencil to avoid damaging the tape or unit.

• Check the following items before starting operation.
• Use Type I (normal) tapes only. Type II (high position), Type III (ferro-chrome) and Type IV (metal) tapes are
not supported.
• Make sure that the overwrite protection tab has not been removed. If the tab has been removed, cover the
broken tab using adhesive tape.
• Be sure to connect the AC power cord to avoid an unexpected recording failure.
