the warranty and discharge SIMU of all liability. This SIMU product must be installed by a professional drive and home automation installer. Moreover, the installer must
comply with the standards and legislation currently in force in the country in which the product is being installed, and inform his customers of the operating and maintenance
conditions for the product. SIMU accepts no liability in the event of damage to equipment caused by weather conditions not detected by the sensor. Never begin installing
without first checking the compatibility of this product with the associated equipment and accessories. If in doubt when installing this product and/or to obtain additional
information, contact a SIMU adviser or go to the website www.simu.com.
Safety instructions: Keep the product out of the reach of children. Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean the sensor. Do not clean it using a water spray or
high pressure cleaning methods. Never drop, knock, drill or submerge the sensor.

INSTALLATION
- For the EOSUN V2 HZ sensor, choose a sunny
location where sunshine detection is compatible with
wind detection. Install the sensor near the product
which it controls. Choose a location with maximum
wind detection and which is not hindered by obstacles:
install the sensor in a location that is not sheltered
from the wind.
- Never install the sensor under an awning or under
artificial lighting.

PROGRAMMING ON AN EXISTING INSTALLATION
5.1 - Open the memory of the motor using
the individual control transmitter:
- Press for about 3 seconds on the "PROG"
key on the transmitter. The motor will turn for
1/2 second in one direction, then in the other.
- If your automatic control is intended to control a group of motors: repeat operations 5.1 and 5.2 for each motor in the group.
- If the automatic control on an installation is changed or deleted, it is essential to delete it from the memory of all the motors in which it was programmed.
- To delete an automatic control from the motor's memory: Perform operation 5.1 from the individual control transmitter and operation 5.2 from the transmitter to be deleted.
6
SETTING AND OPERATION
6.1 - DEMO mode: In this mode all the times (see above 6.2 & 6.3) are reduced so as to facilitate the settings and check that the sensors are correctly
programmed.
- To activate this mode, position the 'Wind' setting potentiometer on "demo", the motor will briefly turn in one direction, then in the other. The Wind
LED red remains off during Demonstration mode 'Demo'. Sun LED green lit and flashing when the sensor detects the current light intensity.
- To deactivate this mode, position the Wind setting potentiometer on the value required (between 10 and 50 kmph), the motor will briefly turn in one
direction, then in the other. To check that the sensor on a motor is correctly programmed: Activate 'demo' mode, the motor should briefly turn
in one direction, then in the other. Deactivate 'demo' mode.
6.2- Wind function: (adjustable between 10 and 50 Kmph): If for more than 2 seconds (DEMO mode: 2s) the speed of the wind exceeds the
threshold set, the EOSUN V2 HZ automatic control orders the retraction of the awning. This order has priority. Caution: It is impossible to prevent
the awning from being raised or lowered the awning if the wind is blowing above the threshold set. If the wind speed falls below the threshold set for
30 seconds (DEMO mode: 15s), the awning can again be extended, and the sun function becomes active again after 12min. Wind LED permanently
lit red when the sensitivity threshold set has been reached.
6.3- Sun function: (adjustable between 0 and 50 klux): If the intensity of the sun measured exceeds the threshold set for more than 2 minutes
(DEMO mode: 10s), the automatic control gives the order for the intermediate position (or total opening if the intermediate position is not programmed).
The automatic device will control the closure of the awning when the sun intensity is less than the fixed threshold: ie. after 15 min. when the hours
of sunshine are continuous, or ie. after between 15 to 30 min. depending on the changes cloud/sun (15 s. in demo mode). Sun LED permanently lit
green when the sensitivity threshold set has been reached. For each of the motors for which the automatic control is programmed, the sun function
can be activated or deactivated using the MOBILE HZ TRANSMITTER SUN 1C.

FAILURE DIAGNOSIS
When it is windy, the awning fails to retract:
- Check that the detection threshold is not set too high.
- Check that the automatic control is correctly programmed in the motor memory.
- Check that the automatic control and the motor are correctly powered.
We care about our environment. Do not dispose of your appliance
with the usual household waste. Take to an accredited collection
point for recycling.

The EOSUN V2 HZ sensor is a wind and sun sensor. The sensor control allows patio awnings
(equipped with motors DMI Hz/Hz02/E-SP Hz or ZSPHz) to be protected against the effects of
the wind. Combined with an MOBILE HZ TRANSMITTER SUN 1C, it also allows the awning to be
extended when it is sunny and retracted when the sun goes in. Caution! These sensors do not
protect the awnings in the event of strong gusts of wind. If weather conditions present this sort of
risk, ensure that the awning remains closed.
