are necessary.

With Sony SUM-1S Super Batteries, listening in a room at a normal
sound level and operating the set tour hours a day, you can expect:
about 10 hours of use if tuned to FM stations only
about 9 hours of use if tuned to AM stations only
e When the sound becomes weak or distorted, replace all bat-
teries.
