Thank you for purchasing the Lindy Active USB 3.2 Gen 2 C/C Cable. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty and free lifetime
technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual carefully and retain it for future
reference.
The Lindy USB 3.2 Gen 2 Active Cable uses built-in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB
3.2 device by an additional 3m or 5m whilst continuing to support fast and efficient data transfer rates of
up to 10Gbps as well as Displayport 1.4 Alternate Mode. It combines data, video and USB Power Delivery
into one cable which makes it a great solution for use in modern meeting rooms and classrooms when
connecting LFDs and touchpanels.

 Compatible with USB Type C or Thunderbolt 3/4 equipped computers
Installation & Operation
Connect the Active USB 3.2 Gen 2 C/C Cable to a free USB Type C port on your computer. Your
computer will recognize the new hardware and install any required drivers automatically. Now connect
the other USB Type C plug of the Active USB 3.2 Cable to your USB device or display. For USB devices
with high power demands, such as a USB Hub, it may be necessary to connect a separate power
supply.
Please note:
This Active USB 3.2 Gen 2 C/C Cable supports Displayport 1.4 Alternate Mode. When sending DP 1.4
signals, only USB 2.0 can be supported. USB 3.2 Gen 2 with data rates up to 10Gbps can be achieved
when sending DP 1.2 signals with resolutions up to 4K 60Hz.
