Problem
Cause
Pump has following problems:failure
to producepressure, erratic pressure,
chattering, Jossof pressure, low water
volume.
Detergent fails to mix with spray.
Enginewiil not start; or startsand runs
rough.

Soap spray pattern nozzle is
selected.
2.
Water inlet is blocked.
3.
inadequatewater supply.
4.
inlet hose is kinked or leaking.
5.
Clogged inlet hose strainer.
6.
Water supply is over IO0°F.
7.
High pressure hose is blocked or
leaks.
8.
Gun leaks.
9.
Selector nozzle is obstructed.
10. Pump is faulty.

Detergentsiphoning tube is not
submerged.
2.
Detergentsiphoning tube/filter is
clogged or cracked.

High pressure spray pattern nozzle
is selected.

Fuelvalve is in "Off" position.

Correction
1.
Select high pressure spray pattern
nozzle on selector nozzle.

Clear inlet.

Provide adequatewater flow.

Straighten inlet hose, patch leak.

Checkand clean inlet hose strainer.
6.
Provide cooler water supply.
7.
Clear blocks in outlet hose.
8.
Replacegun.
9.
Cleannozzles in selector nozzle.
10. Contact Sears service facility.

insert detergent siphoning tube into
detergent.

Cleanor replacefilter/detergent
siphoning tube.

Select soap spray pattern nozzle on
