Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning and maintenance
• Remove the inner pot and lid, wash them in hot soapy water
and rinse them thoroughly. Then dry them with a soft cloth.
• Clean the cooker's exterior with a clean damp cloth. Never
clean any of the cooker's components with an abrasive cleaner.
Use a damp cloth or a sponge with a mild dish soap and water
solution. Never immerse the cooker components in water. Only
ever wash the inner pot and lid in water.
• Use steel wool to polish or remove any residue from the hotplate
and thermal control plate. Then wipe them with a damp cloth.
Let them dry completely before using them again. Ensure that
the hotplate and thermal control plate are kept residue-free,
otherwise the cooker will not work properly.
• Improper cleaning can lead to unpleasant odours.
• Any residue - such as vinegar or salt stains - can cause the
cooker to corrode.
