The various types of computerized playback explained on p12 ff. can also be used in the case
of digital tapes containing music data.
(1) Single Playback
After searching out the beginning of a tune's data, only this tune is loaded and automatically
played.

(2) Direct Playback
This feature automatically searches out the data of the tune you want to hear, loads it and
automatically plays it.

If "20" is entered with the ten-keys and the PLAY
button is pressed as shown in the illustra-
tion, the data of the 20th tune is loaded and the tune automatically played. The tape stops
during Auto Play, but starts again as soon as Auto Play is completed, loading the next tune,
number 21, This operation continues in the order 21 + 22 + 23 and soon.
* Direct Playback can be used in combination with Single Playback, Jump Playback and Intro
Playback. Step 4 in the illustration on page 38 is an example showing a combination of
Direct + Single Playback. In that case, only the first tune (the one specified) is loaded and
automatically played back, and the tape is stopped.
* When a tape is inserted for the first time, it is first rewound
once, after which Direct Play-
back starts.
