REAR DEFLECTOR
The rear deflector,attachedbetweenthe
rear wheels of your mower,is providedto
minimizethe possibilitythat objectswill
be thrown out of the rearof the mower
into the operator'smowing position.If the
deflectorbecomes damaged,it shouldbe
replaced.
DISCHARGEGUARD
The dischargeguard, attachedto the
dischargeopening of your lawn mower,is
providedto preventthe possibilityof injury
resultingfrom objects being thrownout of
the dischargeopening into the operator
mowingposition.If the dischargeguard
becomesdamaged,it shouldbe replaced.
TO ADJUST HANDLE
The handlecan be mounted in a high or
low position. The mountingholes in the
bottomof lower handle are off center for
raisingor lowering the handle.
1. Removeupper handleand all wire
tie(s) securingcable(s) to lower handle.
2. Removehairpincottersfrom lower
handlebracketmountingpin.
3. Squeezelower handlein to removeit
from mountingpins.
4. Turn lower handle overto raise or
lower handle.
5. Squeezelower handlein and position
holes onto mounting pinson handle
bracket.
6. Reassembleupper handle andall
parts removedfrom lowerhandle.
