CheckingOil Level
1.
Make sure pressure washer is on a level surface.
2.
Remove oil dipstick and wipe dipstick with clean cloth.
Replace and tighten dipstick. Remove and and check oil
level.
3.
Verify oil is at FULL mark (top hole) on dipstick. Replace
and tighten dipstick.
Full
AddingEngine Oil
1.
Make sure pressure washer is on a level surface.
2.
Check oil level as described in Checking Oil Level
3.
If needed,slowly pour oil into oil fill opening to the FULL
mark on dipstick. DONOT overfill.
4.
Tip your pressure washer to drain oil from oil fill into a
suitable container making sure you tip your unit away
from spark plug. When crankcase is empty, return
pressure washer to upright position.
5.
Slowly pour recommended oil (about 20 oz. (0.6 I)) into
oil fill opening. Pauseto permit oil to settle. Fill to Full
mark on dipstick.
6.
Wipe dipstick clean each time oil level is checked. DO
NOT overfill.
7.
Replaceand tighten dipstick.
8.
Wipe up any remaining oil.
9.
Reconnect spark plug wire to spark plug.
Service Air Cleaner
Your engine will not run properly and may be damaged if you
run it with a dirty air cleaner. Service more often if operating
under dirty or dusty conditions. Replacementsare available
at your local Sears service center.
To service the air cleaner, follow these steps:
1.
Loosen fastener (A) and remove air cleaner cover (B).
NOTICE
Overfilling with oil may cause the engine to not
start, or hard starting.
• DO NOT overfill.
• If over the FULL mark on dipstick, drain oil to reduce oil level to
FULL mark on dipstick.
4.
Replace and tighten dipstick.
ChangingEngine Oil
If you are using your pressure washer under extremely dirty
or dusty conditions, or in extremely hot weather, change oil
more often.
_i, CAUTION Avoid prolonged or repeatedskin contact
with used motor oil.
• Usedmotoroil hasbeenshownto causeskin cancerin certain
laboratory animals.
• Thoroughly washexposed areaswith soapandwater.
KEEPOUT OFREACHOFCHILDREN.DON'T
POLLUTE.CONSERVE RESOURCES. RETURN
USEDOIL TO COLLECTION CENTERS.
Changeoil while engine is still warm from running, as
follows:
1.
Drain fuel tank by running pressure washer until fuel
tank is empty.
2.
Disconnect spark plug wire and keep it away from spark
plug.
3.
Cleanarea around oil fill, remove oil fill cap/dipstick.
Wipe dipstick clean.

Removeair cleaner (C) from base (D).
3.
To loosen debris, gently tap air cleaner on a flat surface.
If excessively dirty, replace with a new air cleaner.
4.
Install the air cleaner into the base. Make sure air
cleaner fits securely in the base.
5.
Install cover and secure with fastener. Make sure
fastener is tight.
NOTE:You can purchase new air filter elements by calling
1-8OO-4-MY-NOME (469-4663).
Service Spark Plug
Changingthe spark plug will help your engine to start easier
and run better.
1.
Cleanarea around spark plug.
2.
Removeand inspect spark plug.
3.
Replacespark plug if electrodes are pitted, burned or
porcelain is cracked. Use the recommended replacement
plug. See Specifications.
