5.1 How to use the appliance
•
Ensure there are no obstructions on the feed board.
Let bread cool before using in the slicer.
•
Start the slicer using the power switch on the side of the machine.
•
Put the bread in the feed board and put pressure on the bread with the pusher rod.
Bread size: max. 44cm.
•
When the bread comes out sliced, remove it and put it on the bread bagger on top of the slicer.
•
Take a bag and insert it over the bagger and the bread.
•
Then remove the bag with the bread and close the bag.
The blades will stop when the lever is pushed all the way forward.
Do not push or pull bread with your hands while the slicer is in operation.
Unplug the machine from the power source before cleaning, operating, maintaining or touching
the blades.
5.2 Cleaning
•
Regularly check and clean the appliance, its parts and accessories.
•
Always switch off and disconnect the power supply before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
•
Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. Do not use solvents or petroleum-based cleaning
agents. Some cleaning agents may leave a harmful residue or cause damage to the machine. Use a
mild food-safe cleaning product instead.
•
Do not use a scourer or any sharp objects during cleaning as this may cause damage to the machine.
•
Never hose down the machine or immerse it in water or any other liquid. Instead, wipe down the
exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use a steamer to clean the machine.
•
Never let the power cable or power plug get wet.
•
Empty crumb collection drawer depending on how often the appliance is used.
•
Individual parts of the machine can't be cleaned in the dishwasher.
