FEATURES FEATURES
1. The Duplex USB Type A and USB Type-C Charger and Tamper-Resistant Outlet provides:
• The USB Type-C power delivery port is capable of 5VDC, 9VDC, 15VDC, and 20VDC
with a maximum power output of 50W. The Type A port is capable of 5VDC with a
maximum power output of 10W.
– When the USB Type-C port is connected to a power-delivery capable electronic
device, the charger negotiates up to the highest power at which it is capable of
charging, such as 9VDC at 3A (27W), 15VDC at 3A (45W), or 20VDC at 2.5A (50W).
– When a device is connected to the Type A port, the charger outputs 5VDC at
2A (10W).
– When both ports are in use, the Type A port outputs 5VDC at 2A (10W). The
USB Type-C port continues to provide 5VDC at 3A (15W), 9VDC at 3A (27W),
15VDC at 3A (45W), or 20VDC at 2.5A (50W).
• Two, 15A-125VAC or 20A-125VAC outlets.
2. The USB ports are used to charge portable electronic devices ONLY (NO data
transfer capability).
INSTALLATION
1. WARNING: TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH, TURN OFF POWER AT CIRCUIT
BREAKER OR FUSE AND TEST THAT THE POWER IS OFF BEFORE WIRING!
2. This device is to be installed in a wall box with a minimum capacity of 20 cubic inches
(standard single-gang electrical wall box) and wired in accordance with NEC article 314
and CEC section 12 box fill requirements.
3. Connect wires per WIRING DIAGRAM as follows:
Make sure that the ends of the wires from the wall box are straight (cut if necessary).
• Remove 5/8 in. (1.6 cm) of insulation from each wire in the wall box.
• GREEN or bare copper wall box wire to GREEN lead.
• WHITE (Neutral) wall box wire to WHITE lead.
• BLACK (Line (Hot)) wall box wire to a BLACK lead.
4. Twist strands of each lead tightly and, with circuit conductors (wire nuts), push firmly
into appropriate wire connector. Screw connectors on clockwise, making sure that no
bare wire shows below the wire connectors (Fig. 1). Secure each wire connector with
electrical tape (Fig. 2).
5. Mount device in wall box with screws provided and mount wallplate.
6. Restore power at circuit breaker or fuse. Installation is complete.

the top and bottom outlets controlled by separate circuit breakers, you cannot use this device.
