The 12V battery is located under the seat
• Remove the plastic cover to reach it�
• The 12V battery powers the vehicle's electronic systems when
the scooter is inactive and is responsible for starting it up�
• The 12V battery charges from the main battery when
the scooter is in use�

• Proper maintenance and not letting the main battery run out
ensures that the 12V battery never discharges�
• If the 12V battery is discharged, it can be charged with
an external 12V power source�
• Deeply discharged batteries (under 10 V) should be replaced�

Fuses & 12V battery
The following fuses are also under the seat.
• Turn the scooter off before replacing the fuses�
• Replace blown fuses only with proper automotive fuses
of the rating provided in the table above�
• Make sure the fuse properly fits the fuse holder�
• When charging the battery, mind the POSITIVE (red) and
NEGATIVE (black) connectors� Connect the POSITIVE first, then
NEGATIVE� When finished, disconnect NEGATIVE first, then
POSITIVE�
• Repeated problems with the fuses and the 12V battery may
indicate serious electrical malfunction� Contact an authorised
service centre for diagnostics and repairs�
