ATTENTION:
Important safety instructions. The assembly of the LSL foot pegs is a safety-relevant work on the vehicle. If you are not a trained mechanic, contact a specialist workshop to install the foot pegs. Please follow the installation
procedure to the specifications of the vehicle manufacturer. Failure to follow the installation instructions may cause damage to your vehicle and will void the warranty. For consequential damages no liability is assumed. Improper use
of this product may affect riding safety. The unauthorized reworking and / or modifying of the foot pegs or foot peg joints can lead to function failure and is not permitted. Structural changes to the parts are to be omitted and lead to
the loss of liability and warranty claims. Please keep this installation manual for later use.
ATTENTION:
Prior to the installation of the foot pegs, check whether your vehicle, FZG type and year of construction is listed in the ABE and if additional requirements may have to be met. The enclosed ABE applies only to the listed
models and is in compliance with all requirements. In order to ensure the safe functioning of the foot peg, the selected assembly parts (foot peg joints) must fit exactly with the mountings of the vehicle.
Please make sure that you have received the version specified by LSL. For vehicles, which are not listed in the model list, an approval by acceptance acc. § 19 (2) StVZO is possible.
ATTENTION:
Please note that LSL foot pegs are not tested or approved for use with other accessory components, such as exhaust systems. The combination can lead to impairment of the operation of the foot pegs.

Foot peg installation:
1. Place the motorcycle on a secure position. Secure the vehicle against falling over and rolling away. If you are not a trained mechanic, we recommend having the installation performed by a workshop with properly trained personnel.
Keep small children and pets away from the work area.
2. ATTENTION: First remove only one foot peg so that you can check the correct attachment on the other side.
3. To do this, remove the cotter pin or circlip and pull the bearing pin (Fig. 1, 2), paying attention to the installation position of any balls, springs, bushings, washers (Fig. 3, 4) etc. Some motorcycles have the original foot peg riveted,
therefore the bolt must be drilled out and replaced by the enclosed screw with self-locking nut.
4. Assemble the LSL replacement foot peg joints without the foot pegs in the reverse order (Fig. 5, 6). A little grease on the bearing pin increases the service life; Reuse any balls, springs, bushings, washers, etc. that may be present.
Pay attention to the correct fit and function of the balls, springs, bushings, washers etc. (Fig. 3, 4). Use a new locking pin for the split pins.
5. Use the supplied M5x25 screws for screwing on the foot peg joint for all round LSL foot pegs and the M5x16 screws provided for the LSL ERGONIA foot pegs (Fig. 7).
ATTENTION: Secure screws with medium strength screw locking agent (not included in delivery)!

7. Place the arm in the desired position on the joint adapter so that the shaft contour snaps into its counterpart and lies flat against the joint adapter (Photo 8).
Make sure that the arm is free and has no contact with other FZG parts. Screw the arm and the joint adapter using the M6x18 countersunk screw - tightening torque: 10 Nm.
ATTENTION: Secure screws with medium strength screw locking agent (not included in delivery)!
8. Use the screw M5x40 (scope of joint delivery) for screwing the adjustable foot pegs to the arm, this is for all round LSL foot pegs (Fig. 7)
and for the ERGONIA foot pegs the screw M5x35 (scope of joint delivery) - tightening torque: 6Nm (Fig. 8).
ATTENTION: Secure screws with medium strength screw locking agent!
Before the first ride, be sure to do a seating position test with the selected position of the foot peg and make sure that no parts of the exhaust system are touched with your feet. The lean position is restricted by low driver pegs.
Also check the driver foot pegs to ensure that the gear lever and brake pedal can be operated without hindrance and, if necessary, adjust these controls to the required height in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer's
instructions. Please always select the optimal foot rest position and don't make any compromise regarding road safety.
Before each ride: It is the duty and responsibility of the rider to regularly check and maintain the safety-related vehicle parts.
Before starting your journey, check the correct adjustment and function of the LSL foot pegs and the tightness of all screwed connections.
Warranty: Take the time to do a 100% professional job of mounting the LSL foot pegs. Take into account all our installation and safety instructions.
A faulty, improper installation or handling of the product will void the warranty.
Maintenance/Care: Do not use aggressive detergents to care for the LSL foot pegs. The LSL foot pegs can be perfectly cleaned with a simple, lukewarm detergent solution. Contact with brake fluid, brake
cleaner, fuel, etc. should be avoided.
Immediately pick up any unintentionally applied impurities with a soft cloth and clean the surface with detergent solution
Enviromental Information: This product may not be disposed in the normal household rubbish at the end of its lifetime. The disposal can be done through the Paaschburg u. Wunderlich customer service or
a local return and waste collection institution.
Exclusion of liability and guarantee regulation:
In the event of improper handling, installation or use of the device, warranty and guarantee claims may expire. Due to the non-verifiability of the correct application, Paaschburg und Wunderlich GmbH assumes no liability for direct or indirect damage or consequential damage resulting from the operation of the device.
This does not apply if the damage is based on intent or gross negligence on the part of Paaschburg & Wunderlich GmbH, or if the damage consists in injury to life, limb or health, or Paaschburg & Wunderlich GmbH has culpably violated an essential contractual obligation (cardinal obligation).
