USE AND OPERATION.
- Measure the rice with the measuring cup included.
(One cup of raw rice makes about 3 cups of cooked rice).
- Wash the rice in a separate container until the water is relatively clear.
- Place the washed rice in the cooking bowl and add the water.
- The measure is: for each cup of rice you have to add two cups of water.
- Place the cooking bowl inside the pot.
To position it correctly, turn gently to the right and to the left. Close the lid firmly.
- Do not plug the appliance into the mains until you are ready to cook, otherwise the
rice can spoil.
- If the bowl is not properly adjusted to the pot, cooking will not start.
- Plug in the electric current, turn on the pot and press the cooking button.
- The red cooking light "COOK" will light indicating that cooking has started.
- When the rice is ready, the switch will open and you will hear a click.
At the same time, the "COOK" light will go out and the "WARM" light will remain on,
which indicates that the "Keep warm" function will continue to keep the rice warm.
- After jumping the switch, leave covered 6 to 8 minutes to cook the steamed rice.
- When the cooking is finished, disconnect from the electric current.
TIPS FOR COOKING.
- Wash the rice before cooking it:
the bran gives an unpleasant odor to cooked rice.
To eliminate the bran, the rice should be washed well in lukewarm water.
However, washing rice can cause loss of vitamins and nutrition.
- "Keep warm" function:
Do not use this function for more than 12 hours, it may cause discoloration or odor.
The recommended time is to cook it before the meal and keep warm it during the meal.
The sooner the rice is served, the better its flavor will be.
- Steaming:
Put the necessary amount of water in the bowl and put the steam tray on top.
If 2 vaporizer trays are used, foods that need less time (for example, shrimp, fish)
should be placed on top. If you choose to cook rice and steam it at the same time,
add 1/8 cup of additional water in the cooking bowl for each steam tray used.
- Sauteed:
This kitchen is designed to heat the oil automatically.
Add oil and press the switch down to "COOK".
In about 3-5 minutes, the switch will rise to "WARM" and the oil will be hot for cooking.
Before skipping, press the switch to "COOK" again.
