Water Drainage
The Water Tank Full Indicator Light will light up when the water tank is full. Take out the water
tank and empty the water inside. Then put the water tank back into the dehumidifier correctly,
see the illustration below.
Note:
When you remove the water tank, do not
touch sensors or any parts which are situated
behind the water tank. This may damage the
product. Push the water tank gently in the device.
Continuous Drainage
For continuous operation you can use the drain hose of 1 meter long that is included.
Water can be automatically plumbed in or drained into a sink, a larger recipient or through the
wall into an outside drain by attaching a pipe to the unit. Remove the rubber bung on the rear
of the unit and insert the pipe into the drain outlet at the back of the unit. Make sure the con-
nection between pipe and the drain outlet is tight and does not leak. Then direct the pipe to a
suitable drainage point. This unit uses gravity to dispose of water hence the drain should be
lower than the water outlet on the unit. Put the tank back. Be sure to run the water pipe down-
ward and let the water to flow out smoothly. Do not kink or bend the pipe.
Replacing the Clean Air Optima® True HEPA H13 Filter and Activated
Carbon Filter
The Clean Air Optima® CA-702 Smart Dehumidifier & Air Purifier is equipped with a filter lifes-
pan surveillance mechanism that signals that the filters have to be replaced after 400 work-
ing hours. To show that the filters needs to be replaced, the dehumidifier emits a double zero
indicator light will flash in the display.
Reset the timer for the filter replacement by pressing and holding the Humidity button for
about 3-5 seconds. If the indicator light goes out, the timer has been successfully reset and
the dehumidifier is ready for use again.
