CLEANING AND CARE
Please note:
•
To avoid electric shock, always unplug the appliance before cleaning or
moving it.
•
Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach,
concentrated detergents, solvents, or metal scouring pads for cleaning.
Otherwise, the device may be damaged or discoloured.
Cleaning the appliance
•
Remove the contents of the appliance
•
Wipe the inside and outside surfaces with a damp cloth. Adding vinegar to
the water is good for preventing mould and fungi.
•
Disassemble and clean the lid.
•
Clean the removable base and lid parts with lukewarm water and washing-up
liquid.
•
Dry all parts thoroughly after cleaning.
•
When assembling the lid, turn the slots in the sealing ring and hinge rubber
strip down.
Note: when the party fridge is not in use, it must be completely dry inside to
avoid mould growth (leave the lid open if possible).
Decommissioning during absence
•
First switch off the appliance. Then disconnect the power cord from the power
outlet.
•
Remove all the contents.
•
Clean the appliance.
•
Leave the lid on slightly to prevent condensation, mould or odours from
forming.
Installation at another location
•
First switch off the appliance. Unplug the power cord.
•
Remove all the contents.
•
Secure all loose items with tape.
•
Tape up the doors.
