4. ASSEMBLY AND COMMISSIONING
The appliance is supplied with the motor and keypad already installed on the rear shield (8). Therefore, only the blade, front
shield and base need to be installed.
K) Insert the blade (2) in the motor shaft (4), aligning the hole with the screw with the flat part of the shaft.
L) Fully tighten the blade screw on the shaft.
M) Place the front shield (1) on the rear shield (8), aligning the holes of the securing screw found at the bottom end of the
perimeter.
N) Insert the securing screw (5) in the hole and fully tighten it with the relative nut.
O) Secure the base by matching the ends with the holes on the side of the shield (1), making sure the horizontal part is
facing the back of the appliance.
P) Insert and fully tighten the side screws of the base.
Q) Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface, then connect the plug to a socket with the proper voltage.
R) Start the appliance at medium speed by pressing the dark grey key on the keypad.
S) Run for a few minutes to check that it is in proper working order.
T) Turn the appliance off by pressing the white button on the keypad.
5. USE
The rear selector switch behind the shield activates blade rotation and therefore ventilation, the speed of which depends on
the start button pressed:
- Black button: maximum speed
- Dark grey button: medium speed
- Light grey button: minimum speed
- White button: stop rotation
The flow angle can be directed vertically by gently guiding the grille in the desired direction: if the base screws are properly
tightened, the grille can be easily adjusted and will automatically hold the selected position. Avoid using excessive force to
adjust the grille to prevent the appliance from tipping over; for the same reason, do not push the grille beyond the
mechanical limit allowed by the base. The grille should be adjusted with rotation stopped.
6. CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The product does not require any maintenance. Use a damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use any aggressive or abrasive
cleaning agents. It is imperative to disconnect the blade from the mains before cleaning. Do not use compressed air to clean
the blade, and in any case never try to help the blade rotate other than normal use of the appliance. A long, soft bristle
brush can be used to remove any dust deposits. Wait until it is completely dry before reconnecting the appliance to the
mains.
