12. Do not place fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other heating
appliances.
13. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
14. Do not let cord hang over table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
15. To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
16. Always use on a dry surface.
17. This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or
industrial use.
18. Do not use fan near curtains, plants, window treatments, etc.
19. During the first few minutes of initial use, a slight odor may be noticeable. This is
normal and will quickly disappear.
POWER CORD SAFETY TIPS:
1) If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
2) Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
3) To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
4) To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
5) Before each use, inspect the power cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any
are found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the power
cord replaced. Please return it to our Service Department or to an authorized
service representative.
6) Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could cause the
appliance to fray and break.
7) Do not operate appliance if the power cord shows any damage, or works
intermittently and stops working.
