EMERGENCIES:
If a gas leak cannot be stopped, or a fire occurs due to gas leakage, call the fire department.

GASISSUES:
•Turnoff gas at LP cylinderor at sourceon naturalgassystems. If the
hoseis crackedor cut but notburned,simplyreplacevalve/ hose/
regulator.If the hose is burned,the causecouldbe otherthana
faultyvalve/hose/regulator. Discontinue use of grill untila plumberor
gastechnicianhasinvestigated and correctedthe problem.
• ReplaceLP cylinder.
• Turnoff LP cylindervalve.ReturnLP cylinderto gassupplier.
•Turnoff LP cylindervalve.Removeregulatorfrom cylinderand
visuallyinspectrubbersealfor damage.See LP CylinderLeakTest
and ConnectingRegulator to theLP Cylinder.
•Turnoff controlknobsand LP cylindervalve.Leavelid opento allow
flamesto die down.After fire is out and grill is cold, removeburner
and inspectfor spidernestsor rust.See SpiderAlertand Cleaning
the BurnerAssemblysectionsof this Use & CareGuide.
• Turnoff control knobsand LP cylindervalve.Leavelid open to allow
flamesto die down.After cooling,cleanfood particlesand excess
greasefrom insidefireboxarea,greasetray,and othersurfaces.
Burner(s)will not light
usingignitor.

• Wiresare looseor disconnected.

ignitorand electrode.

• Makesure valvesare positionedinsideof burnertubes.
• Ensureburnertubes are notobstructedwith spiderwebs or other
matter.Seecleaningsectionof Use and Care.
• Makesure LP cylinderis notempty. If LP cylinderis not empty,
referto "Suddendrop in gasflow."
• Turnoff knobsand disconnect c ouplingnutfrom LP cylinder.
Reconnect a nd retry.
• Turnthe couplingnutapproximately one-halfto three-quarters
additional t urn untilsolidstop.Tightenby handonly- do not use
tools.
• Replaceelectrode(s).
MainBurners:
• Tip of electrodeshouldbe pointingtowardgasportopeningon
burner.Thedistanceshouldbe 1/8"to 1/4".Adjust if necessary.
Sideburner
• Tip of electrodeshouldbe pointingtowardgasportopeningon
burner,the distanceshouldbe 1/8"to 3/16".Adjustif necessary.
• Cleanwireand/orelectrodewith rubbingalcoholand cleanswab.
• Reconnect w ires or replaceelectrode/wire assembly.
• Replaceignitorwire/electrode assembly.
• Replacewith a newAAA-sizealkalinebattery.
