Waffle Iron Bifinett KH 1103
1.Use
This appliance is intended for the baking of
waffles and is for indoor use only.
It is not intended for the preparation of other
foods and not for use in commercial or
industrial environments.
Important safety information!
To avoid an electric shock:
• Make sure that the appliance can never
come into contact with water while the
plug is in the wall socket – particularly if
you use it in a kitchen near the sink.
• Make sure that the lead is never wet or
damp during operation. Hold it so that the
lead cannot be jammed or otherwise
damaged. If the lead or the plug should be
damaged, you must not continue to use
the appliance – have it replaced by
customer service before using it again.
• Always pull the plug out of the wall socket
after use. Simply switching it off is not
sufficient because there is still current in
the appliance as long as the plug is in the
socket.
Please keep these instructions for future reference – and pass them on to
anyone else using the appliance!

2.Technical data

To avoid fire hazards and injury:
• The appliance can become very hot during
operation. Only touch the handle. The
regulator button will also become hot after
several period of heating. It is better to use
cloth or wear gloves.
• Batters can burn! Never place the
appliance underneath inflammable objects,
particularly not underneath inflammable
curtains.
• Never leave the appliance unattended
• Do not allow disabled persons or children
to use electrical household appliances
without supervision, as hey may be unable
to assess the potential danger.
• When the lid is opened, extremely hot
steam can billow out. When opening the
lid, wear oven gloves.
3.Putting into operation
Before putting the appliance into
operation, make sure that ...
- the device, plug and lead are in perfect
condition
- all packaging material has been
removed
First of all, clean the appliance as
described in 5.
Grease the baking surfaces
with butter suitable for baking, or
margarine or oil.
Heat up the appliance to maximum
temperature for a short time with the lid
closed:
1.
Put the plug into the wall socket and
then turn the regulator button as far to
the right as possible.
2.
The red light lights up as long as the
plug is in the wall socket.
The green light lights up as long as the
appliance is heating up – as soon as it
goes out, the appliance is hot.
3.
Now pull the plug out of the socket and
allow the appliance to cool down with
the lid open.
Then clean the appliance again as
described in 5. The waffle iron is now ready
for operation.
4.Baking waffles
After having prepared your waffle
batter according to the recipe book:
1.
Heat up the appliance with the lid
closed. Put the plug into the wall socket
and turn the regulator button
to
approx. middle position.
2.
When the green light
goes out, the
appliance is hot!

• Grease the baking surfaces with butter
suitable for baking, or margarine or oil.
• Distribute the batter evenly on the lower
baking surface. The batter should not
touch the edge of the waffle baking
shape. Now close the lid.
• You can open the lid after at least 1
minute to check the baking result.
Opening any early would cause the
waffle to tear.
• The waffles are ready after approx.
3 minutes. By turning the regulator
button
or adapting the baking time
you can determine how brown the
waffles will be.
• When taking out the waffles, make sure
that the coating of the baking surfaces is
not damaged. Otherwise you will not be
able to take out the waffles as easily.
• After baking the last waffle, pull the plug
out of the wall socket and allow the
appliance to cool down with the lid
open.
