Unplug the appliance before any manual cleaning operation. Use only non-corrosive or non-flammable commercial
products. Any projection of water or vapor is prohibited to avoid the risk of electric shock.
To avoid any risk of damage to the appliance, transport it in its operating position fitted with its transport wedges
(depending on the model). When unpacking it, and to prevent the risk of suffocation and corporal injury, keep the
packaging materials away from children.
To avoid the risk of explosion or fire, do not place flammable products or items soaked in flammable products inside,
near or on the appliance.
Respect the cold chain from the acquisition of food until its consumption to exclude the risk of food poisoning.
The electrical components (power cord, plug, compressor) must be replaced by an authorized service technician or
a specialized electrician.
SAFETY RULES AND RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE & DURING USE
Before you throw away your old refrigerator or freezer:
Take off the doors.
Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside.
Important information to know about disposal of refrigerants:
Dispose the refrigerator in accordance with Federal and Local regulations. Refrigerants must be evacuated by a
licensed, certified refrigerant technician in accordance with established procedures.
Discarded or abandoned refrigerators are still dangerous, even if abandoned for "only a few days".
Remove the packaging:
Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the refrigerator. Rub a small amount of liquid dish
soap over the adhesive with your fingers. Wipe with warm water and dry.
Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. These
products can damage the surface of your refrigerator.
Dispose of/recycle all packaging materials in specific containers according to local regulations.
When moving your refrigerator:
Your refrigerator is heavy. When moving the refrigerator for cleaning or service, be sure to cover the floor with
cardboard or hardboard to avoid floor damage.
Always pull the refrigerator straight out when moving it. Do not wiggle or "walk" the refrigerator when trying to
move it, as floor damage could occur.
For models with Y-mountings, if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified
person in order to avoid the dangers.
Use at least two people to move and install the refrigerator.
Failure to follow this instruction may cause injury.
Clean before using:
After you remove all the packaging materials, clean the inside of your refrigerator before using it.
Do not clean glass shelves or covers with warm water when they are cold. Shelves and covers may break if exposed
to sudden temperature changes or impact, such as bumping. Tempered glass is designed to shatter into many small,
pebble-size pieces. This is normal. Glass shelves and covers are heavy. Use both hands when removing them to avoid
dropping.
