INSTALLATION
Physical Installation
Mount the alarm panel within 5 feet of a 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz electrical
outlet using two #6 self-tapping screws (not included).
NOTE: Also use #8 plastic anchors if mounting to sheet rock.
Battery Backup Installation (Optional)
1. Remove the cover.
2. Install a 9 VDC battery (not included).
3. Press Alarm Test to ensure that the alarm sounds and the battery
backup system is working.
• Alarm LEDs, alarm buzzer, and auxiliary contacts will activate.
NOTE: When on battery backup, the green power LED will not light up.
4. If not using auxiliary contacts for an existing alarm security system, reinstall the access cover.
Electrical Connections

1. To connect the alarm panel into an existing BAS or alarm system, use 18 gauge 2 conductor wire.
NOTE: Normally open dry contacts can switch 24VDC, 500mA maximum.
2. To connect the alarm to the OA1S control panel, use 18 gauge 4 conductor wire to connect the OA1S
control panel to the alarm panel.
• The control panel's exact terminal style may vary, but C, O, W, T is consistent.
NOTE: Normally open or normally closed contacts can switch 9-10VDC, 200mA maximum.
3. Run the wires through the wiring access hole.
4. Replace the alarm panel cover.
