This user manual lays out the intended use of this Permanent Make-up unit and serves to prevent
malfunctions or damages to the unit. This unit may only be used by authorized medical personnel,
beauticians as well as trained qualified personnel and only for the purposes mentioned in this user
manual! All persons using, caring for or checking this unit have to read this user manual in all its details.
Application
The purpose of this Permanent Make-up unit is to insert colour into the skin by means of needles fitted
into the hand piece. The control unit secures the electrical connection requirements for the hand piece.
Starting up the unit
The unit has been manufactured according to the VDE guidelines and will be delivered to the customers
in perfect condition. An inspection according to the GS and VDE regulation has taken place. The unit
may only be connected to a correctly installed power outlet. The voltage has to correspond to the input
voltage stated on the type plate of the power adaptor!
The unit may only be opened for maintenance and repairs by the manufacturer or authorized personnel.
The unit may only be used inside and can be operated without any problems at room temperatures
between 10 °C to 35 °C.
In the case where operated the unit does not appear safe anymore it is to be switched off immediately
and secured against unauthorized use. This will be the case if the unit:
· or its accessories show visible damage
· does not work correctly
· has been stored for a long time under adverse conditions
· was transported improperly or if it has been subjected to substantial mechanical stress (shock, crashes
etc.).
The unit must always be positioned on a solid and level surface and may only be operated by trained
personnel.
Control unit
First connect the power adaptor to the mains (100–240 V) then connect the plug at the other end of the
cable to the unit. You will find the connecting socket at the back of the unit. (POWER) Now connect the
foot pedal and the hand piece to the appropriate and labelled connecting sockets.
Now an automatic device-test will start.
After activating the
sensor surface a value for the operating speed will appear in the 3-digit
7-segment display. This can be adjusted in steps of 10 on the sensor surface
and
respectively
from 90 to 250.
The
sensor surface has to be touched in order to activate the hand piece. The LED light right above
this button shows that the hand piece is no switched on. By touching this button again the hand piece
will be switched off.
The hand piece can also be operated with the foot pedal if it has been connected to the "FOOT"
connecting socket.
By touching the
surface you can switch between hand pieces if two hand pieces have been con-
nected at the same time.
Attention! All marked areas to change functions are sensor surfaces and react to the slightest touch
(not pressure).
