TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
TRANSPORT
•
Before transporting and / or storing the water pump, make sure it is completely cooled down.
•
Transport the water pump with the fuel switch off, as well as keeping it in a horizontal position to prevent fuel
spills.
STORAGE
•
Store this tool in a clean and dry place.
•
Clean the interior of the water pump prior to storage. After washing it, remove the water drain plug, completely
drain the water from the pump, and reinstall the water drain plug.
•
Pull the starter cord until you feel resistance, and then continue pulling until the triangle mark on the flywheel
matches the hole in the starter screw. In this position, the air inlet and the exhaust valves are both closed, and
this can prevent internal oxidation of the engine.
•
Cover the water pump to protect it from dust.
