Operate the unit only with door and ash drawer fully closed, open feed door to feed fire only;
Adjust the air inflow for a slow and lasting combustion;
The unit handles may become reddish during operation;
Only remove ashes from the unit when the fire has died down to prevent accidents from occurring;
During the first fires, the unit's paint is cure, which may give rise to additional smoke. If this happens, you should air the room
by opening external windows and doors.
Safety
The exposed metal parts reach high temperatures. To avoid skin burns do not touch these hotter areas;
Keep children away from the unit;
Wear a glove or another protection any time you handle your unit while it is in operation;
In case of failure, immediately close the air intakes and contact your unit supplier;
If the unit overheats or if fire occurs in the flue, immediately close the door of the unit and the air intake regulator to
deprive the fire from oxygen and contact the unit's supplier.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Only clean your unit when it is not in operation and has cooled down;
The glass should be cleaned with a suitable product, not allowing the product to come into contact with the other parts of
the unit (metal parts, sealing ring, handles, etc.). For more information on the most suitable product to be used, please
contact your supplier;
You should remove the ashes on a regular basis so that the combustion air intakes do not get blocked while the unit is
operating;
Metal parts should be cleaned with a dry cloth, soft brush or vacuum cleaner brush;
The baffle plate is removable and should be removed and cleaned on a regular basis;
We advise you to clean the flue at least once a year. However, pay attention to any signs of smoke spillage through the door
of the unit.
