Installation
•
The appliance should be disconnected from the power supply during
installation.
•
The appliance should not be left unattended for long periods of time.
•
The appliance will become hot so must be placed on a suitable heat and
steam resistant surface. It is not suitable for polished wood surfaces.
Warning
•
Maintain a distance of 50cm between the appliance and walls or other
objects for ventilation.
•
Do not install in an area where a water jet could be used.
Installing the overflow outlet hose
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging. Make sure that
all protective plastic film and plastic coatings are thoroughly
removed from all surfaces.
2. Ensure to install a stop cock or water valve at the water supply.
3. Connect the overflow outlet hose (clear colour) to the overflow
outlet on the rear and secure with the hose clip.
•
The pipe should slope downward so that water vapour generated will be
discharged efficiently and condensed water will not accumulate inside.
Otherwise it will block the drain pipe and affect the appliance performance.
•
The lower end of the overflow outlet hose must be kept open to the air.
Warning
Otherwise, it will cause an explosion or injury. Never let it direct towards
people and walls, or touch the power cord of the unit.
4. Mount the tap (supplied) onto the water outlet on the front.
