Attaching Chute Stop Bracket
1.
Removethecarriageboltand lock nutholdingthe chute stopto
the deck.See the left Insetof Fig.20. Savethe hardware.
2.
Installthe newchutestop bracket,fromthe looseparts,at the
samepositionon thedeck. Seethe rightInsetof Fig. 20. Secure
with the hardwareremoved earlier.
NOTE:An extracarriageboltand lock nuthavebeen suppliedin
yourbaggerkit in hardwarepack 689-00163.Youmay replacethe old
hardwarefor the chute stopbracketwith this newhardware,or save for
lateruse.
NOTE:This chute stop bracketmay stayon the unitevenwhenthe
baggeris not beingused.

Installing the Discharge Chute
1.
Reinstall t he cuttingdeck to the tractorreversing the instructions
for DeckRemoval i n operator'smanualof thetractor.
2.
Raisethe deckto its highestposition.
3.
Raisethe chutedeflector(A in Fig.22) on the deckand hold it
whileyou positionthedischargechuteoverthe chuteopening.
4.
Insertthe hingepin of the dischargechute intothe tubeon the
chute stop bracket.See B in Fig. 22.
5.
Rotatethechute aroundthe deck sothat its front edgefits snugly
intothe deckopening.Lowerthe chutedeflectorslowly(C in Fig.
22).
