Remove the appliance and its accessories from the packaging, taking care to remove the packing
materials.
- Wash all accessories with a soft sponge and hot soapy water. .
- Clean the interior bowl of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth.
- Clean the inside of the removable aluminium bowl with hot soapy water, and the outside with a
slightly damp sponge.
- Rinse the bowl and dry it thoroughly before placing it back in the cooker.
• Using the cup provided, measure out the desired
amount of rice. A whole glass of uncooked rice is
equivalent to two glasses of cooked rice.
• Rinse the rice in a bowl, until the water runs clear.
For softer rice, soak it for 10 to 20 minutes before
cooking.
• After checking that the appliance's internal bowl is
dry, clean and free of residue, place the removable
aluminium bowl in the rice cooker.
• Pour the rice into the removable bowl.
• Then pour the required amount of water into the
removable bowl, without exceeding the maximum level
(level 7). For example, if you pour in three cups of rice,
you must fill the bowl with water until you reach level 3.
• Always add at least the equivalent of a measuring
cup (level 1), i.e. 160 ml of water.
• Put on the glass cover, then plug the power cord into an AC outlet.
• Put the ON/OFF switch in the "ON" position to switch on the appliance.
• Lower the cooking selector until you hear a click. The "COOK" indicator light will come on.
The rice begins to cook.
• To optimise cooking time and prevent loss of steam, never lift the lid during cooking.
• At the end of cooking, the appliance automatically switches to Keep Warm mode.
The " WARM" indicator light comes on.
• Let the rice stand for 5 to 10 minutes, keeping the lid closed. Cooked rice can be kept warm
for 2 hours. Stir the rice before serving.
• To avoid burns, use a glove or pot holder to remove the cover Grasp the basket by the
handles.
• After use, turn the ON/OFF button to the "OFF" position to turn off the device.
