1. Remove any existing magnesium protection anode before installing the
CORREX

2. Never connect the plug-in potentiostat to magnesium protection anodes.
3. The titanium anode must not be in direct contact with internal tank
components or with the tank wall. The quality of the insulation must be
checked with a suitable measuring instrument (e.g digital multimeter or

The illustration on the fold-out page (chapter 1.1) of this manual shows an
example of the installation procedure for a CORREX
fitting set. The actual situation depends on tank type, tank size, type of anode
and connecting cable used.
N N o o t t e e : : Leave the fold-out page (chapter 1.1) open when installing the system.
The following parts are needed for installation:
1. Titanium anode with screw fitting G ¾"-, G 1"-, G 1¼"
or with NPT thread ( ( 1 1 ) )
2. Connecting cable ( ( 3 3 ) )
3. Plug-in potentiostat ( ( 2 2 ) )
