Note: There may be a slight movement in the closing direction of the blade. This
movement is normal and can be caused by the gap between the teeth of the rack and
pinion.
REPLACING THE BLADE
Caution: Before performing the following operations, remove the battery
from the scissors.
When the through-blade and the beating blade do not intersect at full length or when
the scissors no longer cut effectively, replacement is necessary by doing the following:
- Before replacing the blade, make sure the scissors are switched off and the battery
is disconnected from the charger.
- Observe the pictures below to see how to proceed
- Clean the blade after replacing it, connect the charger to the battery, press the
switch to operate the scissors and to make sure the blade is working properly.
- Make sure the scissors are not switched on, then remove the central body from the
blade body
- Remove the bolt using the Allen key provided in the maintenance kit.
- Remove the nut with the spanner provided in the maintenance kit
- Remove the blade from its seat
- Remove the counter-blade from its seat
- Insert the new counter-blade into its seat
- Tighten the bolt to secure the anvil-blade
- Insert the new blade in its position and replace the bolt on the blade
- Screw the nut and bolt back on using the spanners provided in the maintenance kit
- Replace the central body on the blade body.
The pass-through blade and swing blade can be replaced separately: opening and
closing will return to normal once the scissors are switched on again.
